Job Description
As a Medical Technologist, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team, responsible for performing a variety of complex testing and procedures with precision and accuracy. Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting chemical, hematological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriological tests to provide data for use in treating and diagnosing diseases. Operating and maintaining sophisticated instruments and equipment to perform test analyses. Ensuring the laboratory complies with regulatory requirements and maintaining quality control practices. Collaborating with healthcare professionals to interpret test results, develop appropriate testing protocols, and implement new techniques. Monitoring test results, reporting any abnormalities, and maintaining detailed records of procedures and outcomes.
Education & Certification Requirements
To qualify for this position, you should have
A Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field. Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) by the ASCP or equivalent. Proven experience in a medical laboratory setting is preferred. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work accurately under pressure. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
