Job Description
Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide high-quality medical care to patients in need. Administer appropriate treatments and interventions according to established protocols. Safely transport patients to medical facilities while providing ongoing care and monitoring. Document patient interactions, treatments, and transport details accurately and thoroughly. Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and emergency response teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring readiness for emergency situations.
Education + Certification Requirements:
Current certification/license as a Paramedic in the state of Iowa. CPR certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Certification as an EMT-P, completion of examination by the State of Iowa. Strong clinical skills and knowledge of emergency medical procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and adapt to changing environments. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
