Job Description: As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to expectant mothers and their newborns. Your responsibilities will include:
Monitoring the progress of labor and vital signs of both mother and baby. Assisting with childbirth and providing emotional support to mothers and families. Administering medications and interventions as necessary. Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
Education And Certification Requirements
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution. 3 years of experience required. Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California. Certification in Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC-OB) preferred. BLS required, ACLS, PALS, NRP and fetal heart monitoring preferred.
