Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician (MT/MLT) - Microbiology Department
Job Description: Connected Health Care, in partnership with our client, is seeking a skilled Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician (MT/MLT) to join the Microbiology Department. As an integral member of our team, you will perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, contributing to the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases.
Responsibilities
Perform microbiological testing on various specimens including blood, urine, and other bodily fluids Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments Analyze and interpret laboratory results Ensure accuracy and precision in test performance and results reporting Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and quality control procedures Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field (for MT) Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field (for MLT) (ASCP REQUIRED) 3 years of experience in microbiology laboratory required. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
