Job Description
Perform diagnostic imaging examinations on patients, including X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and mammograms. Ensure equipment is properly maintained and calibrated for accurate imaging results. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and treatment plans. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment during procedures. Document patient information and imaging results accurately in electronic medical records (EMRs). Educate patients on procedures and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
Education And Certification Requirements
Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program. ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification. Valid state licensure as a radiologic technologist in California. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
