Legal Administrative AssistantTampa, FloridaFull time 5 days a week in the office.
Qualified candidates must possess:minimum of 2-4 years of experience as a legal administrative assistant with a focus on business litigation.Must be flexible, proactive, have excellent organizational and communication skills, strong team player skillsMicrosoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint; Filesite experience is a plus. The ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks based on business needs is essential.
Duties include, but not limited to:Coverage for Legal Administrative Assistants when out of the officeCoverage for the Receptionist as needed; perform reception job dutiesSupporting assigned attorneys with preparing, revising and proofreading legal documentsScheduling and calendaring Court appearances and depositionsE-filing documents with Federal and Florida State CourtsAttorney time entry and client billingPreparation and submission of new client business intake and conflicts checksSchedule attorney travel, appointments and meetingsUpdate attorneysβ calendars and contact listsAppellate experienced strongly preferred
