Unarmed Security Officer

Position Summary

Seeking part-time security officer to provide all routine patrol and access control functions including property control at the Aerospace Chantilly, VA location.

Responsibilities

Report to the Lieutenant or SergeantPatrol Buyer’s facilities and report all security or safety deficienciesConduct timed patrol tours and special signoffs as directed.Respond to the scene of crimes and emergencies to assist, observe, report, and containEnforce Buyer’s access and property control policies at all gates and lobbies

Qualifications

Must be U.S. citizenMust have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving recordMust have a current TS Clearance or HigherSuccessfully pass criminal, credit and driving records checkSuccessfully to pass an employment physicalSuccessfully pass criminal, credit and driving records checkAbility to prepare detailed written reports and fill out formsWrite and speak clearly and effectively in English. Be fully computer literate with computer hardwareCommunicate effectively Must be able to pass training and obtain the required certifications and licenses6 months or more of related security experience

WORKING CONDITIONS

Subject to frequent interruptions.

Physical Requirements

May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting for prolonged periods throughout the workday. Climb 8 or more flights of stairs.
