Manufacturing Commodities / Services Buyer

Target Salary $60k - $80k depending on experience
Job Description
Work within a growing manufacturing company that is in the power distribution and energy space. Help them grow and solidify their supply chain and vendor relationships. Ensure that products and services are sourced correctly along with costs, quality, quantity, and dates of delivery. Work with and continually source suppliers for materials and services. Enter, track, and manage supplier network within the company ERP solution and continually measure their performance data. Partner with supply chain manager, engineering to build supplier relationships and maintain them in accordance with their ISO procedures.
Required Skills
3+ years experience as a buyer or planner for a purchasing department of a manufacturerExperience working within Supply Chain, Operations, or FinanceExperience evaluating and negotiating pricing for commodities, services, or materials for manufacturingExperience working within an ERP system, preferably SAPStrong experience working within MS Office Suite, especially MS Excel - advanced formulasBachelors Degree
Bonus / Soft Skills
ISO experience related to manufacturingAny experience with DOD requirementsStrong desire to work autonomously for your own tasks, as well as collaborate with others within the purchasing department.
