Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site, day-shift role as a Warehouse & Inventory employee at Continental Electrical Products located in Sterling Heights, MI. The Warehouse & Inventory employee will be responsible for tasks such as shipping and receiving, paperwork audit processes, packing, skidding, loading, unloading, general organization of items, and inventory storage. Proven experience with safely operating a forklift to move large items is also required. Light assembly labor to supplement production needs as they arise will also be needed. Advancement potential exists to other career-oriented roles within the company for proven individuals.
QualificationsShipping & Receiving coordination, packing, skidding, and truck related experience is requiredComputer literacy in a networked PC business environment is required, (MS Office, Quickbooks, & e-mail)Inventory Control understanding, any experience working in or implementing a bar code environment is helpfulSafe forklift and Pallet Jack operation and experience using general shop tools is mandatoryAbility to perform physical or repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects safelyStrong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently are neededAbility to follow safety protocols and procedures regularly and look out for others in this regardEffective group communication skills to meet the end goals togetherAttention to detail and accuracy in all tasks related to daily routines
CompensationCompensation is competitive based upon proven experience and individual abilities. Benefits package, IRA, PTO etc.
