Job Description:Position: Entry-Level Associate Location: Downtown Atlanta, Georgia Employment Type: Full-time, in-person with reasonable remote work permitted

Responsibilities:Conduct legal research in intellectual property matters and civil litigation cases.Assist in drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs under the supervision of senior attorneys.Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in legal matters.Prepare for and attend meetings, hearings, and court proceedings with senior attorneys.Manage and organize case files, documents, and correspondence.Provide administrative support to attorneys as needed, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and handling phone calls.Stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and legal precedents affecting our practice areas.Assist in drafting and analyzing written agreements.Collaborate with other team members to effectively handle caseloads and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the state bar (or eligibility for admission within six months of hire).Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research databases.Prior internship or work experience in a legal setting is preferred but not required.

Compensation and Benefits:Base annual salary: $80,000.00Meeting the firm’s minimum annualized billing requirement of just 1300 hours.Bonus Structure:Meeting the firm’s target goal of 1500 annualized hours: Additional $20,000.00 bonus, bringing total compensation to $100,000.00 per year.Exceeding the firm’s target goal and reaching 1700 annualized hours: Additional $30,000.00 bonus, bringing total compensation to $130,000.00 per year.Healthcare benefits provided at the firm’s expense.
