Job Description
CooperSurgical, Inc. seeks a Procurement Supervisor in Trumbull, CT to ensure production metrics are met by analyzing the Materials Requirement Planning Report (MRP) and identifying required materials and equipment. Negotiate with strategic suppliers to secure favorable pricing, delivery, and ensure compliance with company standards. Provide training for the Supply Chain Management and Value Stream teams to ensure understanding of inventory plans. Monitor performance against the department’s KPI’s and delivery results.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Management, or a related field plus three years of materials, planning, and procurement experience. 3 years of experience with electronics components and supply chain, analyzing BOMs for complex electronic assemblies and subassemblies, and identifying, qualifying, and managing global subcontract manufacturers. 3 years of experience providing cost breakdowns, summarizing market trends and business impacts, contributing to production plans, and managing raw material transformation operations. 3 years of experience in production leadership utilizing Microsoft Project and AGILE tools for managing project schedules.
