Cordogan Clark is looking for an Architect to join our team in St. Louis, MO, assisting senior project management on a variety of design projects. This is a full-time position for a professional with 1 to 5 years of general full-time experience.

The Role We Want You ForThe ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have a curious and open mind, strong English language communication skills, and be an active listener, willing to engage with and learn from multiple stakeholder partners.
Responsibilities include project documentation, project development, assistance in building design concept and development, transforming detailing into a complete set of construction documents, reviewing components designed by engineers and other consultants, and assistance in clarifying the design intent from the design phase through construction.This is a hybrid position that requires the ability to create and present design concepts and then subsequently produce high quality construction documents as needed for competitive bidding purposes alongside the architecture team.
Specifics of Your RoleAssist Senior Managing Architects in all phases of project development.Perform limited portions of assignments using prescribed methods.Work from the design of others to perform routine architectural assignments.Work collaboratively with clients, architectural staff, engineers, and consultants to develop creative design concepts and manage project scope to meet project goals and budgets.Provide quality control and assurance at schematic design, design development, and construction document phases.Required QualificationsAccredited degree in Architecture.Recent graduates through 5 or more years of relevant experience.Proficient in BIM 360/Revit design platform.Solid understanding of a wide range of computer applications used in a professional design office: Microsoft 365 suite of products, Adobe suite, Bluebeam, and familiarity with 3D programs SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, etc.A strong work ethic and a drive to exceed client expectations.BenefitsParticipation in the company’s comprehensive medical, vision, dental, and short-and-long term disability insurance plans.Pre-tax reimbursement accounts for both childcare and health care purposes.Participation in the company’s 401k Plan, which includes up to a 3% discretionary match.Personal Time-Off (PTO).Paid Holidays: New Year’s Day, Good Friday (1/2 day), Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (Thursday & Friday), Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve.
