Job Description

What You'll Be Doing:

Sourcing and vendor selection

Assist internal clients (BUs) in translating their business needs into sourcing requirements. Research market capabilities and competitive landscape and identify potential vendor partners. Employ the appropriate sourcing method (competitive vs sole-source), decide on the targeted engagement and pricing models. Develop RFP/RFQ packages, project plans and timelines, and provide full project management support in implementing sourcing initiatives, maintaining comprehensive relationships with internal stakeholders and targeted vendors. Facilitate technical and commercial evaluations, develop sourcing recommendations and facilitate approval decision from the senior leadership. Negotiate CoreLogic favorable terms and conditions with pre-selected vendor. Manage contract execution process of pre-negotiated agreement.

Contractual vendor management

Assist in development of primary contracts including MSA, Service Delivery Contracts, Work Orders; establish complete understanding of the critical T&Cs; support negotiations targeting CoreLogic-favorable contractual arrangements. Work closely with Legal, Finance and Business Unit(s) to assure amendments and extensions are drafted, negotiated, reviewed and approved timely and comprehensively. Facilitate validation and execution process for short-term contractual arrangements using Work Order commercial construct.

Proactively develop action plan for end of term of each vendor contract, considering all potential options (extension, repatriation of services, re-bid, transition of scope to another vendor, etc).

CoreLogic Vendor Strategy Project Support

Responsible for the implementation of assigned projects and deliverables, from initial design to final execution. Develop detailed work plans, milestones, resource requirements, and status reports. Work closely with key project stakeholders to understand and prioritize business objectives, requirements, and constraints; navigate across business and functional lines to drive stakeholder alignment towards desired outcomes. Own project governance meetings and facilitate project working sessions. Anticipate, report, and mitigate potential project risks.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is required 5+ years of experience in vendor management, outsourcing management, operations management, and/or program management in a global contextStakeholder relationship management experience; proven track record establishing a trusted advisor relationship with customers/business partnersAdvanced critical reasoning/thinking ability, understanding cause-effect implications, as well as worst/best case scenariosStrong negotiations skills, ability to influence others Exceptional communication, facilitation, and project management skillsStrong ability to engage at all levels across a diverse set of internal and external stakeholder groupsStrong ability to work effectively across functions, business units, cultures, and time-zonesA sense of urgency and pace, managing milestones with the capacity to prioritize/align conflicting demandsSolid organization skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesHigh degree of comfort acting as a central point of contact and first point of escalation for issues, disputes, and requestsDeep understanding of contractual fundamentalsMust be able to think and plan strategically and globally; yet possess a detail-oriented, pragmatic management approachSelf-directed and results-oriented; strong bias for executionStature, passion and adeptness to have an immediate impactExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to apply logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusionsAbility to manage and drive change
