📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are seeking an entry-level Research and Development Specialist for a 1-year contract opportunity, with a pay rate of 32.93/Hr.
Schedule: M-F 8am-5pmWeekly Pay!!
Roles and Responsibilities:Maintain a safe and compliant environment within the Research and Development laboratory through active participation in safety protocols and procedures.Adhere meticulously to guidelines and best practices concerning lab notebooks, data storage, and backup procedures to ensure accurate and secure record-keeping.Conduct comprehensive inventories of chemicals and consumables within the laboratory, documenting findings accurately and comprehensively.Demonstrate proficiency in the safe handling and disposal of hazardous chemicals and canisters, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.Effectively organize and maintain lab storage areas to optimize accessibility and efficiency for all laboratory personnel.Execute reactions, purifications, and chemical fillings in accordance with established protocols, meticulously documenting procedures and results.Requirements:Enrollment in a college-level program with a major in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, coupled with proficiency in computer literacy for documentation and communication purposes.Strong team player mentality with a steadfast commitment to prioritizing safety and adherence to protocols.Must be able to work a Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Pacific Standard Time) schedule.
