We have an exciting opportunity for a Content Strategist to join our U.S. Marketing Communications Team in Johnston, Iowa! This position is responsible for planning and the over-arching content strategy for all Corteva seed brands.

What You'll Do

The primary purpose of this position is to oversee the day-to-day management of our editorial calendar and all marketing content planning and optimization to ensure customer engagement, brand consistency, and a positive customer experience Partner with Content Leader, MCMs, Social Leader, and agency partners to develop a content strategy for U.S. Seeds portfoliosConduct content audits to identify gaps/opportunities and work with the content manager to fill in gaps/optimize existing contentPlan content capture opportunities to best showcase portfolio subject matter experts and influencersEnsure consistency across all content, from websites to social media channels and videosMaintain a calendar of project deadlines and content launch datesDevelop content and retargeting journeys, in conjunction with MCMs and campaign managersDevelop test/learn/iterate content pilots regularly for content initiativesSeek content partnerships with a portfolio that adds valueWork closely with Seeds Content Specialists, agency partners, and freelance writers to ensure content execution and process optimization

Qualifications

Education

You have a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or related field

What Skills You Need

Seven (7) or more years' experience in content development (articles, blogs, case studies, videos, etc.…) and content distribution for digital channelsPrevious education and experience in digital marketing project managementYou can work independently as well as in a team environmentYou are comfortable with technology and possess an excellent computer aptitude including the use of Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), and are willing and able to learn other company-specific applications as required You are a creative thinker and self-starter, who can take initiative, be proactive, and work independentlyYou have high attention to detail can multitask, maintain an organized workplace, and have excellent problem-solving skillsYou are a superior communicator (writing, presentations, content creation, etc.…) and have proven experience working successfully with a variety of stakeholdersFoundational understanding of the U.S. Agriculture industry
