Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
Renders direct and indirect patient care under direction of appropriate licensed personnel. Facilitates care to meet patient's daily living activity needs by providing clerical, physical, emotional support. Provides personal self care and activity programs.

LEVEL OF EDUCATION
Minimum: High school grad or equivalent
Preferred: Training as a nursing assistant
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Minimum: CPR/BLS within 6 months of hire
Preferred: For GVCH departments: Current CNA certificate preferred.
Technical Requirements
Minimum: Ability to use computer charting (electronic medical record)
Years Of Related Work Experience
Preferred: 0 to 2 years experience in an acute care setting
