We have an excellent opportunity available for a Plant Electrical Engineer in the North Syracuse, NY area.
Company OverviewEstablished Leading Products Manufacturer Strong benefits package offering health, dental, long and short term disability, life insurance, 401K match, bonus plan and much moreGreat job security This is an in plant position, no travel required Duties & Responsibilities:Perform a combination of project engineering and maintenance support activities Optimize plant manufacturing processes to reduce costs (labor, machine speed, reduce downtime, and waste)Spec out new equipment or technology Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, and VFDâs Oversee the startup of new equipment or production lines within the plant Education & Experience:BS in Engineering or related. Will consider an AAS with multiple years of experienceExperience as an Electrical Engineer, Maintenance or Automation EngineerKnowledgeable with Siemens S7 or Allen Bradley PLCs and DrivesWinCC, alarms, and recipes
