Traditional Studio Artist

YOUR ROLEThe freelance Traditional Studio Artist is responsible for the preparation of materials for creative development, new business and presentation materials.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESPhysically construct and modify marketing martials, including boxes, elevator and wall graphic installs, presentation binders, etc.Strong hands-on skills with mounting, trimming, packaging and prototype buildingUnderstanding of binding systems for presentation decks and meeting materialsEnsures all time and materials are billed accurately and in a timely manner within ManagePlusMust be able to work flexible hours

REQUIRED SKILLSMust have 4+ years’ experienceSome CS, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop knowledge is a plusKnowledge of studio input and output devices and when their usage is appropriate such as color copiers, inkjet printers and proofers is a plusMust be able to deal with a flexible process that is ever evolving to meet the clients' needs, while maintaining structure and meeting deadlinesMust be able to troubleshoot on your own as well as ask for help when neededMust be able to work independently and with a teamMust be self-motivated, professional, detail oriented and process fluid while working under pressure within tight deadlines to meet the clients’ needsExcellent oral and written communication skills

The salary range for this position is $40 to $55 per hour. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; the associated discipline; market considerations; budgetary considerations; geographical considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
