Copywriter
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Our client in the home services space is looking for a REMOTE Copywriter as an ongoing freelance extension of the team to work on web content. This is fully remote, project-based role will start as 30-40 hours per week for the first month then decrease to a project-based schedule with fewer hours per week ongoing. Hours will ebb and flow based on workload.
Copywriter Responsibilities
Write SEO friendly website copy Write content based on briefs from various brand teams Create new content for multiple brands/sites Optimize existing content based on strategy Proofread and edit all content Manage multiple project timelines Proactively communicate project updates and changes in timeline Ability to be agile and change direction on projects quickly, if needed
Copywriter Qualifications
3+ years professional experience in copywriting, preferably in home services or B2C A portfolio showcasing long- and short-format pieces, including website copy and blog writing Knowledge of SEO best practices Experience using Monday.com or other project management software Experience using CrownPeak or other Content Management Systems Experience using Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook) Experience using Google Docs
The candidate will need to use a personal laptop for this role.
