Production Manager - Short Form Video & Static Specs

Our client needs a Production Manager who is highly knowledgeable of proper video and static specs especially as it relates to promoting short form video and static content for a leading entertainment studio and streaming services provider for a fully remote 6-month contract role! They need a Technical spec expert for video/display and key art. You will be helping media buyers figure out which specs are needed and working with production team on corrections from their team, and helping with creating the spec technical library in airtable.

This is a fully remote, 6-month contract. Candidates can work EST or PST hours, though PST hours would be preferred.

Technical spec expert for video/display and key art. You will be helping media buyers figure out which specs are needed and working with production team on corrections from their team, and helping with creating the spec technical library in airtable.Short form experience is an absolute must so if you've only worked in movie production that may not be a good fit, you must understand the marketing and short form environment for technical specs for display.Experience with Airtable would be a bonus - but not a requirement.

As a Production Manager (Video & Static Specs), You'll

Be the stakeholder that oversees the requests that will be assigned to the team to proactively determine if they are accurate and within requirements.Create and maintain an accurate spec database.Point of contact for all parties involved concerning technical specs and troubleshooting any potential delivery issues regarding specs.Communicate with Marketing teams and agency stakeholders highlighting any roadblocks for execution and offering potential solutions.Attend meetings with the Marketing team and Agency Partners to learn about platforms the assets will be on and educate our organization on best practices and quickly changing requirements.Work with in-house and agency partners to maintain a constantly changing spec database.Be a champion for process improvement, enhancements, and automation whenever possible.Serve as a key resource for creative teams as they are producing assets needed for but not limited to, display, AV, and print specs.Be the point of contact for editorial and static to troubleshoot any issues.This specialist will have strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with both internal teams and external post-production vendors.This position will work closely with our external media agency to ensure specifications are accurate as well as translate those specs to our internal teams in layman's terms.Potential after-hours availability to answer questions regarding deliverables with new specs/placements from teams working late shifts.

The ideal Production Manager - Short Form Video & Static Specs for this role has:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 10+ years experience in traffic/production management.Experience in the production of short-form video content or equivalent preferred.Experience with shooting, editing, and post-production of video.Extensive knowledge of video and static formats.Excellent administrative, project management, and communication skills, with proven experience in managing concurrent projects.Ability to work proactively, collaboratively, and effectively under pressure with a wide variety of staff and outside partners.Knowledge and proficiency in project management software (Airtable experience strongly desirable).Positive attitude with the ability to influence and inspire others.
