Video Production Manager

Calling all Video Production Managers eager to help grow an in house video production team. Our nonprofit client is looking for a a Video Producer to join their team in a full time, direct hire position.

Details: Travel will be required 2-3x per month, averaging 1-2 weeks per month on the road. In times of no travel, client would like the candidate onsite in North Canton, Ohio for meetings, but can work remote as needed otherwise.

Sell points: A majority of the videos and shooting will consist of creating documentaries of some world renowned inventors and even Nobel Prize nominees/winners.

This Video Production Manager's position will be responsible for:

Leading, managing and aiding the growth of the in house video production team of 5 Video projects are primarily documentaries and interviews of famous inventors and innovators in science, education, technology, etc. Collaborating with executives and in house creatives on planning for video brief + pitching stories to executives Working collaboratively with the team to revise as needed and develop stories into action plans for the video shoot Coordinate all day of shoot items from travel to additional talent needed, etc. Manage day of shoot, ensure roles and responsibilities are clear, step in for the shoot as needed + support creative direction to ensure the story is being properly captured Manage all communications between the inductee and to coordinate day of shoot

The Video Production Managers required qualifications are

Extremely professional communicator - clear, concise, fast to respond, and eloquent Onsite production experience - on the road, traveling, crew management, etc. Experience managing a production team Some video production experience - producing, shooting footage, 2nd camera, running a set, etc. Video storytelling experience - ability to evaluate the interviewee, the location and creatively tell the story of the individual

The Video Production Manager's Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the education space and/or in an agency setting Experience directing, video editing, managing a camera or other helpful onsite
