Our client, a leading architecture and design company based in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a motivated individual with strong accounts payable experience and a proven background effectively supporting the accounting and finance department.
Responsibilities
Efficiently process invoices, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.Maintain positive relationships with vendors, addressing inquiries and discrepancies promptly.Manage accounts payable transactions, including verifying coding, obtaining approvals, and processing payments.Assist in the preparation and submission of expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions to support financial reporting.Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounts payable function.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in accounts payable or related roles preferred.Demonstrate attention to detail in reviewing and processing invoices and expense reports.Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with vendors and colleagues.Possess strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies and contribute to financial reporting and analysis.Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and MS Excel for data entry and analysis.
