Their commitment to excellence and innovation has positioned us as a leader in our field. As we continue to grow and expand, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Controller to join our team.

Overview of the Controller role: As the Controller, you will play a crucial role in our finance department, overseeing all aspects of financial management, reporting, and compliance. You will work closely with the CFO and other members of the executive team to ensure the company's financial health and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities Of The Controller

Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Develop and maintain financial models to forecast company performance and identify areas for improvement. Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making. Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and prepare regular forecasts to track performance against targets. Collaborate with department heads to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives. Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. Communicate financial results to senior management, the board of directors, and external stakeholders. Internal Controls: Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Conduct periodic audits to assess control effectiveness and mitigate risks. Cash Management: Manage cash flow and liquidity to support operational needs and maximize investment returns. Monitor banking activities and optimize banking relationships to minimize costs. Tax Compliance: Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of tax returns. Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations to minimize tax liabilities and maximize benefits. Financial Systems: Evaluate, implement, and maintain financial systems and software to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Provide training and support to finance team members on system usage and best practices. Audit and Compliance: Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors during annual audits and quarterly reviews. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and assist with the resolution of audit findings.

Preferred Qualifications For The Controller Position

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 4 years in a supervisory capacity.Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and internal controls.Must have Manufacturing industry experience. Experience with ERP systems and financial software. Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
