Job Title: Senior Accountant
Summary: Newly created Senior Accountant opening. Take on a rewarding role with excellent exposure to senior leadership. This remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your own home, with the added benefit of a day or two onsite each quarter. Reporting into a fantastic leader/mentor, you, as a Senior Accountant, will play a pivotal role in our financial operations and enjoy opportunities for growth and advancement within our organization.
Responsibilities Of a Senior Accountant
Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulations and accounting principles.Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and general ledger entries.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and procedures.Assist with tax planning and compliance activities.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Requirements For a Senior Accountant
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role.Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles.Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation: $75K to $85K + Bonus + Profit Sharing
