About the Senior Staff Accountant Role: As a valued member of our growing accounting team, the Senior Financial Staff Accountant is at the heart of our commitment to efficient, accurate, and timely reconciliation of various trial balance accounts. This pivotal role also involves playing a key part in the review and processing of cash disbursements. Additionally, the ideal candidate will find fulfillment in handling various other accounting tasks and projects within the department. Position open due to growth.
Responsibilities Of The Senior Staff Accountant
Reconcile the intercompany activity over multiple divisions Reconcile key balance sheet and income statement accounts Prepare and post journal entries through manual entry and excel upload Research and resolve general ledger discrepancies and issues Participate in the month-end close Prepare and distribute financial statements and management reports Protect financial operations by keeping information confidential Support improvements for Management and Financial Reporting Support or develop processes for data management between multiple sources/systems
Education And Requirements Of The Senior Staff Accountant
Proficient in Excel, MS Suite (Access, Teams, Outlook), and other Microsoft products4-5 years general accounting or auditing experienceBachelor's in Accountancy
