Job Duties of the Tax Manager
Filing & Reviewing federal, state, and local tax documentsAssist with federal and state income tax auditsPrepare quarterly federal and state tax paymentsRecommends tax strategies, researching federal, state, and local taxation issuesMaintaining legislative materials reviewing, interpreting, and implementing new or revised lawsMaintaining compliance with regulations by forwarding required information to federal, state, and local authoritiesProviding assistance in areas of IRS audit, tax planning and special projects
Qualifications Of Tax Manager
BS degree in Accounting or a related field, experience welcomed in lieu of degree3+ years of tax accounting experienceSolid understanding of tax process, systems and softwareEffective communication skills to interact with tax and non-tax personnelAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously
