Responsibilities For The Vp Of Information System
Lead and mentor the security, infrastructure and system teamsBe responsible for the overall care, and maintenance of the ERP system (JD Edwards)Be the advocate for the Americas as a part of a global organizationOversee core budgetary functions of the department
Preferred Experience For The Vp Of Information Systems
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.Proven experience in a senior leadership role overseeing IT operations and strategy within a large organization.Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, infrastructure technologies, and emerging IT trends.Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Extensive experience in managing complex IT projects and initiatives, from planning and execution to evaluation and optimization.In-depth knowledge of information security principles, regulations, and best practices.Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions and initiatives.Experience in budgeting, financial management, and vendor relationship management.Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, PMP) are a plus.
