As a Senior Manager you will be responsible for overseeing a team of Project Manager Associates and Project Managers responsible for executing strategic projects. You will provide support and coaching to team members as they evaluate, execute, and finalize each project. You will also be responsible for applying the concepts of organizational health to develop and maintain a healthy, effective team. You will be expected to build strong relationships with other leaders in the organization and continuously expand their own knowledge of our business.

Apply organizational health to create and maintain a productive team able to deliver on-time, value-add projects to the organizationAssist in developing and improving PMO processes and toolsAssess and improve the team by reference to the organizational health dimensionsProvide direction, leadership and mentoring to PMO team membersEstablish measurable team and individual objectives that are aligned with business and organizational goalsEnsure staff has resources, skillsets and tools necessary to accomplish mission by continuously identifying educational and training opportunitiesCollaborate with Key Stakeholders to ensure project outcomes meet or exceed expectations in terms of scope, timeliness and qualityDevelop and maintain productive working relationships with project sponsors and teamsServe as a subject matter expert within the organization for project management knowledge areas and work with Leadership to develop and update Project Management methodology and tools for the organizationLead the capacity planning activity to manage resource needs for the portfolio

Facilitation Techniques: Organize, support and/or conduct workshops, meetings, presentations specific to the objectives of each, problem to be solve, and needs of the audience.Cost Management: Performing the work required to support development of estimates, tracking and controlling costs to project can be completed within budget. Overseeing the work necessary to purchase products and/or services needed from outside the project team.Impact Analysis: Understand the rationale behind and how changes impact the enterprise and/or applications and across the technical ecosystem.Risk Management: Conducting risk management planning, identification, analysis, response planning, and controlling risk on a project.Schedule Management: Performing the work required to manage the completion of the project on time.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree3+ years tenure at Credit Acceptance with one year in a Manager role (if candidate is internal)7+ years of project management experience or PMO experience2+ years of PMO or other department management experienceExperience with IT methodologies and processes (including Agile)Experience with Business Process Evaluation and Improvement (including BPMN)Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Visio, Office and SharePointUnderstand and apply the concepts of project, program and portfolio management, prioritization, resource management, and change management, and be able to teach these concepts to othersCommunicate in a clear and concise manner to audiences at all levels of the organization and handle difficult conversations professionallyBe Proactive, Urgent, Assertive, Organized, Decisive, Self-driven, Ambitious, Intelligent, and Receptive to Feedback

Preferred Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in business or ITMaster’s Degree1+ years of program management experienceExperience in financial services sector (loan servicing or loan origination organizations)

Targeted Compensation: $123,000 - $133,000 base salary + an annual bonus plan

This position is not currently open to individuals who require sponsorship now or in the future to work legally for Credit Acceptance, such as H-1b/ H-4 or F-1 OPT visa holders.
