Job Description

Pro Tech Mechanical specializes in the commercial Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) space in Texas with office locations in Corpus Christi and the Rio Grande Valley. The Project Manager is responsible for estimating, selling, and managing Commercial HVAC Projects. This position requires a self-motivated individual who is dependable, process-oriented with an aggressive growth mindset who possesses a high level of attention to detail and works exceptionally well with others.

The employee should have a high level of attention to detail, be accurate and consistent, and work well with others.

A successful Project Manager will achieve their individual sales goals, accurately estimate the costs to perform a project, and achieve the planned project gross profit with an emphasis on accurate labor utilization. Customer satisfaction should result in repeat business.

Qualifications, Functions And Purpose

4+ years of Commercial HVAC/MEP Project Management experienceTrade License (HVAC) preferredSpecial knowledge: Construction, Chillers, BoilersStrong written and verbal communication skillsPlans, manages and coordinates the commercial and financial aspects of HVAC/MEP projects assigned. Includes oversight and support related to forecasting and management of the project related areas such as; cost, billing, collections and vendor terms, variation orders, risk and opportunities.Daily contact with Owners, General Manager, CFO, Project Managers, Accounting, Purchasing, Construction Depts.Critical in driving successful performance of the projects assigned in order to deliver a quality product, on-time while maintaining margin or driving margin improvement.Demonstrable effectiveness in project negotiations, multi-site interfaces and commercial management of contractsPC skills with knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, MS Projects and presentation software.Open, positive attitude, willing to be part of multi-discipline TEAM.Manage the scheduling and forecasting of milestone billings including review of invoices to be submitted.Demonstrates effective leadership ability within a team environment and contributes significantly to team performance.Serves as the primary internal contact with Management for the financial and commercial aspects of the Project Portfolio and coordinates related communications between the various functional areas involved in the project.Works independently using advanced specialized skills. Relies on experience & judgment to plan & accomplish assigned goals. The approval of operational design based on testing. Authority via General Manager to stop work or shipment should a condition not conforming to Pro Tech Mechanical or customer requirement occur.

Salary: $120,000.00 per year
