📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Digital Print Operator
Crisp Imaging is a leader in the Digital Print industry with emphasis in reprographics, color, technology, and electronic document management solutions. Built on our Customer Driven Culture and “Win Forever” Philosophy, we have twenty-one (21) production facilities throughout Southern California, Northern California, and the Pacific Northwest. Our Color department is seeking a Digital Print Operator to join our team in Livermore, CA.
Responsibilities
- Receive and process large/small format print requests
- Preflight client files by preparing and formatting files for large and small format print production
- Championing order entry, preflight, print production, bindery, packaging, and QC
- Working together with liaisons and production team to complete orders
- Assist clients in the preparation and formatting of files
- Assist sales in communicating printing capabilities to prospective clients
- Provide professional guidance for client inquiries and file submission
Qualifications
- 2 years of color printing experience
- Experience on Ricoh, Xerox, Colorado and HP Design Jet
- Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Acrobat experience desired
- Working knowledge of inkjet and toner-based printing
- Graphic Design experience a plus
- Knowledge of color theory and fundamentals of color and profiling preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with use of Fiery and Onyx RIP (raster image processor) a plus
