You’ll work in a 32-bed residential center that houses women and children.

You will take Assessments to assist in determining plan of care. You’ll also conduct group therapy, crisis therapy, 1:1 therapy session, and collaborate with other team members to best support patients. You’ll follow up with documentation, government forms, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:*

Master’s Degree Social Work, MSWThere are 3 levels of credentialing options which will be considered: ACSW, LCSW, or Psychologist. (AMFT or LMFT also considered)Two (2) years’ experience of post-degree clinical experience, preferably in an inpatient or outpatient setting.Two (2) years’ experience in addiction treatment & mental health field with women, children & their families.Cultural competence working with minority, low-income, and vulnerable populations.Experience working with substance use disorder programs, with crisis intervention and trauma recovery systems.General knowledge and understanding of Evidence Based Practices such as CBT, DBT, ACT, etc.General knowledge of behavioral health counseling skills including the ability to perform biopsychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, supportive therapy, and coping skills development.

Willing to work onsite in South LA approx. 4 days/week, with 1 day/week from home.

Bilingual English/ Spanish desired but not required.
