Job Title: Electrical Designer (Medium Voltage, Utilities, Revit)
Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in medium voltage systems, particularly in utility applications. Proficiency in Revit is essential, as this role requires the ability to independently handle drafting tasks while contributing to the design and development of electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:Medium Voltage System Design: Lead the design and development of medium voltage electrical systems, focusing on utility applications such as substations, distribution networks, and power generation facilities.Drafting and Modeling: Utilize Revit to create accurate and detailed electrical 3D drawings, models, and schematics. Independently handle drafting tasks while adhering to industry standards and project requirements.Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and expertise in medium voltage electrical design, including equipment selection, layout optimization, and system integration.Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and integration of electrical designs within multidisciplinary projects.Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews and evaluations of electrical designs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, safety protocols, and project specifications.Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to medium voltage electrical systems and Revit drafting techniques. Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancement.
Qualifications:Associates or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design, or related field.Experience in electrical design, with a focus on medium voltage systems and utilities.Proficiency in Revit, with demonstrated experience in electrical drafting and modeling.Strong understanding of medium voltage equipment, components, and industry standards (e.g., IEEE, NEC).In-Circuit understanding is a nice to haveProfessional certifications (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and project management experience are advantageous.
