Receiving Supervisor - 2nd Shift

We are looking for a 2nd Shift Receiving Supervisor to join our automotive packaging and kitting operation and oversee the receiving dock for all incoming parts.

Shift schedule is 4:00pm - 12:30am, Monday – Friday. Some overtime and weekends may be required based on customer demand.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES – Receiving SupervisorAssume accountability of all inbound material.Ensure verification of all materials.Ensure proper labeling and storage procedures are followed.Coordinate storage, consolidation, retrieval of material to allow maximum utilization of space.Communicate issues such as damage, overages or shortages.Report daily/ weekly attendance.Lead team of employees.Advocate for 6S and continuous improvement in Receiving Department.Ensure timely unloading of inbound material to avoid any detention charges.Ensure proper material flow from receipt to storage and storage to production.Perform other duties as assigned.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS – Receiving SupervisorHigh School diploma or equivalent2+ Years Supervisory experience, preferably in shipping/receivingAbility to use scan-based trading (SBT) system as related to distribution and receivingKnowledge of scales used in receiving materialPositive attitudeBasic computer skillsEffective communication and people skillsAbility to instruct and direct the work of othersAbility to develop and implement the use of processes and proceduresResilient and adaptable as work demand changesStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsExperience with SAP a plusForklift certification a plus
