Asset Trucking Director of Operations
The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing and improving our client’s day-to-day operations. This position plans, organizes, directs, and reports on the activities of each location and changes in customer requirements.

Responsibilities
Logistics Management: Lead the logistics team to coordinate transportation schedules, routes, and deliveries to meet customer requirements while minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency. Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices. Implement measures to promote a culture of safety and minimize risks associated with transportation operations. Coordinate and execute strategic and operational activities in conjunction with the President. Manage the department staff with responsibility for hiring, training, scheduling, managing performance, discipline, and overtime allotment. Ensure compliance with our client’s Goals and KPI’s. Oversee the customer support process to enhance customer satisfaction; develop relationships with key customer contacts for each location. Communicate and explain new directives, policies, or procedures; for major changes, meet with the entire staff to ensure a seamless transition to new processes. Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly reports for all logistics operations. Handle accelerated driver concerns.
Experience
Extensive and diversified background with at least 5 years of related experience Planning and Project Management Skills Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with close attention to detail. Proven ability to plan and manage multiple customer requirements. Strong Excel skills to create, manipulate, and update reports. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
This position offers a competitive base salary.
