Fund Accountant

Hybrid-West Orange, NJ or Wilmington, DE

Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Candidates for this position must be eligible to work without sponsorship. Time on-site or time zone may be necessary based on business need.

Summary

Our US Fund Solutions group is seeking a Fund Accountant. The candidate will manage multiple client deliverables ensuring superior client service. Deliverables include fund administration services provided to private equity funds.

Some of the things you will be doing

Prepare financial statements and support schedules (GAAP and other basis)Prepare capital call and distribution calculations and prepare and distribute lettersPrepare NAV calculationsInvestor and compliance reporting Daily client interaction Matrix reporting structure for client servicesInternal responsibilities (status reports, time tracking, etc.)

What technical skills, qualifications, and experience do you need?

BS Degree in Accounting is requiredExperience as a Fund Accountant required in Private Equity or Hedge FundsKnowledge of US GAAP is requiredAdvanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, IF/THEN, XIRR, SUBTOTAL, ROUND, named ranges) Investran experience a plusAble to multi task and perform tasks under strict deadlinesProfessional verbal and written communication skillsAttention to detailStrong organizational skills
