They require a proven Packaging Supervisor to join their teamAbout this opportunityA critical leadership role, the Production will lead the Production function to ensure the highest standards of asset care, while transforming the team into an engineering powerhouse that will support Safety, Quality, and Production through condition and TPM functions that underpin OEE improvement.With a strong commitment to accelerate safety and productivity performance, you will lead and coach your team to embed a culture of continuous improvement and best practice maintenance methodologiesYour key responsibilities will be to:Provide leadership, coaching and support to the maintenance, allocating & prioritising tasks to execute maintenance and reliability plansWork closely with Production and Quality teams to troubleshoot issues and maintain plant production capabilityPerform Root Cause Analysis on all critical failures of plant and ensure action items derived are implemented and sustainedEnhance and expand the site preventative maintenance program to efficiently support Operations and innovationSet the overall strategy and standards for best to improve efficiency minimise production downtimeCo-ordinate all contractor support, services, and maintenance activity (Inc. Financials)Actively support the implementation of capital projectsYour skills and experienceTo be successful in this role, you'll have:Visible belief and demonstrated leadership in driving a Zero Harm cultureEngineering Degree (Mechanical) or can demonstrate equivalent experience/training (Trade qualified)Result driven focus with strong mechanical aptitudeFormal training in Lean manufacturing techniques and root cause analysis (desirable)Proven ability to coach, mentor and develop maintenance teamsRelated industry experience, preferably within the CPG industry but not essentialExperience in equipment criticality and failure mode analysisExposure to lean principles for continuous improvementUnderstanding of OHS regulations and food safety practicesExceptional communication skills and strong rapport-building techniquesAdvanced skills in CMMS software/systems such as MEX or SAPA flexible, resilient approach that encourages a positive work/team environment
