Vice President Finance

CSuite Financial Partners has been retained by our client, an Orange County, California based publicly traded global franchisor of boutique fitness brands, to place a Vice President of Finance.

This role will report directly to, and will collaborate closely with the Chief Financial Officer, playing a strategic role in managing the financial landscape of the company and its brand portfolio. We're seeking an ideal candidate with a proactive, hands-on approach to lead a team of finance professionals. This role involves spearheading detailed analysis to set financial objectives and KPIs that foster accountability and enhance performance throughout our organization.

Duties/Responsibilities:Lead a team of 8-10 team membersPrepare and oversee the creation of Monthly & Quarterly financial reporting packages for executive managementLead financial budgeting, planning, and forecasting processes, providing insights and recommendations to optimize resource allocation and drive profitabilityAssist with quarterly board meeting presentation for board and managementAnalyze revenue streams and provide insight into maximizing profit marginsEnsure global financial and operational success with support from business analytics. Prepare and/or oversee variance & trend analysis and ad hoc reporting for various brands and teamsCollaborate with key stakeholders to execute strategic initiatives, identify process improvements, and evaluate organizational impactEffectively present and articulate financial results and the narrative surrounding company performance to stakeholders. Support M&A activity and work on various ROI analysisCollaborate with internal and external auditors

Requirements/Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fieldMaster’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration or AccountingA minimum of 10+ years of experience, including 5+ years of team managementAbility to build and analyze financial models and forecastData Analysis & Mining experienceTrend Analysis and ResearchVisualization of concepts and ability to model complex forecasts and revenue/expense opportunitiesHighly proficient in Excel (Data Manipulation & Navigation, Pivot Tables, V&H-Lookups, etc.)Familiarity with reporting toolsAbility to establish vision(s) for finance department and execute with minimal oversightAbility to interpret and understand financial statementsAbility to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members along with willingness to set and maintain high standards of performanceFranchising experience preferredCapacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlinesAbility to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to lead discussions in diverse groups of varying sizeAbility to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
