📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Job Description: 9 months contract ; Remote but must be able to cover PST timezone. Responsibilities:
- ABAP Development Mastery: Demonstrate expertise in ABAP development basedon intricate functional specifications. Developing, designing, implementing, andsupporting complex finance business processes in an SAP environment.2. Advanced Troubleshooting: Address and resolve complex technical issuespromptly for users, partners, and colleagues. Contribute to technical knowledge inthe FICO specialization area.3. Comprehensive Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technicaldocumentation to ensure clarity and transparency.4. Strategic Backlog Management: Lead in prioritizing and managing the workbacklog to align with strategic business objectives.5. Strategic Collaboration: Foster strategic collaboration with business users, SAPconsultants, developers, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication andseamless collaboration. Lead engagement with functional teams for optimal projectdelivery.6. Best Practices Advocate: Advocate for and ensure adherence to industry standards,best practices, and the organization's IT architecture. Designing, building, testing,and deploying SAP FICO technical solutions, emphasizing RICEFs (Reports,Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms) design and development.Solidigm Confidential7. Advanced Testing and Quality Assurance: Lead the development and execution ofadvanced test plans, collaborating closely with functional teams to surpassacceptance criteria.8. Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation by staying abreast ofindustry trends and new SAP features. Lead efforts for process improvement,automation, and optimization within SAP modules and business processes.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, BusinessAdministration, or a related field.2. Over 10 years of proven experience as an SAP developer, with a focus on diverseimplementations in SAP modules (Experience in high tech and semiconductorsectors is a significant advantage).3. In-depth and advanced knowledge of SAP development tools across various SAPmodules.4. Mastery of SAP development life cycles and standards.5. Expertise in ABAP Workbench, ABAP OO, CDS views, with extensive developmentand transportation system experience.
