📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Who you are: Culture Pop Soda is looking for a Social Media Content Creation Intern to support day-to-day content creation and social media management for Culture Pop’s social media channels. Reporting directly to the Director of Social Media and Influencer Marketing, you will be responsible for monitoring social media trends and content, with the goal of creating multiple pieces of trend-driven, creative content each week. You should live and breathe TikTok, have a deep understanding of the platform and be comfortable filming content and being in front of the camera. This job is currently based out of Cambridge, MA and individuals are expected to work in-office on average 3-4 days per week. Internship will be approximately 3-4 days per week, 30 hours total. Internship will be May - August 2024, with opportunity to continue if local to Boston area.
What you’ll do:Closely monitor and analyze social media trends and content, with the goal of creating and sourcing multiple pieces of trend-driven content each weekProduce, film, and edit video short format TikToks, Reels and other social video content using the latest trends and techniquesIdeate videos concepts and execute inspirational briefs, storyboards, and strategy for short format videoAssist with content creator and influencer identification, relationship building, and sourcing social content needsCreate weekly competitive reports to share key social media, community management, partnerships, and influencer marketing initiatives Assist with monitoring and tracking influencer mentions and campaigns across social media channelsSupport daily community management, building relationships with the Culture Pop social media community Assist with social media send-outs/giveaways/surprise-and-delight moments
What you will bring:Currently studying marketing, communications, brand, video production, or relevant degree preferredSkilled in filming and editing social media video content (TikTok, CapCut, Premiere Rush)Comfortable being behind and in-front of the cameraYou have a passion for social media marketing, with a comprehensive understanding of Instagram and TikTokDeep understanding and point of view on social media trends. Constantly working on learning new trends and staying up to date on the latest content trends in social media
