We are looking for a talented Production Lead (2nd Shift)to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Components Business Segment in Florence, KY.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways
Coordinates the activities of a group of employees in order to meet established production specifications and schedules including volume, cost, wastage targets and quality standards.Follows all applicable standard work, process documentation and quality procedures such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), poka-yoke and visual standards.Raises quality concerns to minimize cost and exposures.Performs quality inspections.Monitor the performance and output of the team and assign tasks and inputs to ensure that work specifications, schedules, volume, cost, waste targets and quality standards are met.Ensures team members are using and following process documentation where applicable as part of operator training and defect investigation.First responder to equipment faults, parts shortages, quality issues, and safety issues.Assists management in organizing and coordinating headcount and overtime needs to meet production and delivery schedules.Ensures on the job training and other training requirements are scheduled, completed and documented.
To be successful in this role you will need the following
Manufacturing Knowledge - Demonstrates the knowledge of manufacturing by correctly implementing changes in current processes, equipment, and applications to meet the function's needs and contribute towards continuous improvement.
Education And Experience
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
Compensation And Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
