AR/AP Clerk

We are looking for an AR/AP Clerk to join our New Britain, CT team!

As our Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Clerk, you will work with the operations team at our Surface Technologies facility, specializing in liquid coatings.

You will process transactions and make the data entry into our accounting system, ensuring accuracy of information entered.

Location: New Britain, CT

Salary: $16.68 - $19/hour

Your Challenge

Processes daily credit card deposits. Makes the entry in the system of accounts payable and accounts receivable. (25%)Reviews the documents received and provide the archiving. Registers and checks out all processes of payments and receipts. (25%)Routes customer claims of invoice payment, charge backs, returns, and bad checks. Sends collection letters to customers, starting the recovery procedure. (25%)Controls and monitors the commitments of payments and receipts of the company. (25%)

What You Bring

Ability to prioritize workload and effectively manage multiple deadlinesIntermediate proficiency with spreadsheets and word processingUnderstanding of general accounting principles and practices

Preferred

Bachelors or Associate in AccountingExperience with an accounting system such as SAP or Oracle
