📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
We have here an excellent opportunity to contribute on a contract to hire basis with a great organization here in the OC. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented team player who will oversee the entire order process. You will review proposals, negotiate prices, select the best suppliers, analyze trends, follow up with placed orders, verify delivery, approve payment, and maintain necessary records.
As an experience Buyer you will have the following responsibilities:Initial preparation and issuance of Request for Quotations (RFQs) for a wide range of commoditiesProcess modifications to terms and conditions of purchase agreementsPerform commercial analysis on suppliers to develop more efficient processes and cost-effective solutions
You should have the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent equivalent experience in purchasing, inventory, or supply chain managementExcellent written and verbal communication skills2+ years experience as a Buyer with preference given to those with CPG experience.
