Mobile Applications - iOS Principal Engineer II

CVS Health is developing a mobile application that will serve all the needs of our customers and patients. Our new “Super App” is the customer-facing Flagship CVS Health and Pharmacy application. It's one application that delivers access to services and programs our patients and customers require to live better. Given the complexity of the application, this role requires extensive experience in application development from prototype to production and reports directly to the Executive Director of Flagship Mobile Applications. Our "Super App" is one more example of how CVS Health is bringing health care to people when and where it's needed.

Roles and ResponsibilitiesProvide technical vision, drive strategy around solutions, solve complex problems, and successfully execute across the apps and moreAct as an executive technical leader across strategic efforts, leveraging partners, technical leads, and technical expertise to better inform processes and outcomesAct as a technical owner across strategic efforts involving the new modern technology like AI, ML based features and morePartner with technical leaders within CVS and the open-source community and contribute to product strategy, frameworks, roadmap definition, and requirements-gatheringProvide domain knowledge and engineering insight to guide early designs, accelerate project decision-making, and maintain close oversight of technical executionEncourage and maintain engineering excellence on the team to build reliable distributed systems that our customers can build their business onBecome a trusted decision-maker for important projects with high technical or outcome riskPlot and execute on the path from prototype to production for featuresBring passion, energy and excitement to the team and organizationAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and deal with multiple priorities

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS10+ years of experience in mobile application development. Significant experience building customer facing applications on the Apple Play store7+ years of experience in iOS app development, building reusable frameworks using Swift/SwiftUI, Objective C, C++5+ years of experience with DevOps tools such as CircleCi, GIT, Sonar, Jenkins2+ years of experience worked on CICD Pipeline automation2+ years of experience with a11y, Telemetry & Observability
