📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Automation and Controls Engineer to join our team. In this role you will work with our team to develop, design, and implement automation projects, systems, and controls. This is a remote position.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, design, and implement automation projects and systemsDevelop control systems using Archestra, AVENA InBatch, Siemens APACS, and other toolsEnsure compliance with cGMPs, GAMP, and other regulationsDevelop and maintain DCS and automation designsPerform testing, validation, and documentation of automation systemsDevelop and support batch control systemsTroubleshoot and resolve automation and control system issuesProvide technical support for automation and control systems
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent field preferred2+ years of experience in automation and controls engineeringExperience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment, Familiarity with cGMPs and GAMP regulationsExperience in development and implementation of automation and control systemsExperience with DCS, automation design, and batch control systemsExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExperience with ArchestrA, AVENA InBatch, and Siemens APACS
