📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Position Overview: The Insurance Defense Attorney is responsible for providing legal representation and counsel to insurance companies in the areas of insurance defense, defense litigation, and commercial defense.
Key Responsibilities
Represent insurance companies in civil litigation and negotiation proceedings.Provide legal advice and guidance to insurance companies with respect to insurance policy interpretation and disputes.Conduct hearings and negotiations to resolve conflicts between the insurance company and claimants.Develop and maintain relationships with clients.Coordinate activities with other legal professionals in the areas of litigation, commercial defense, and trucking litigation.
Qualifications
Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.Active license to practice law in the state in which the attorney will be employed.At least 1-3 years of experience in insurance defense, litigation, commercial defense, or trucking litigation.Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem solving skills.Strong time management and organizational abilities.
