What You Will Be Doing

Analyze business trends, sales data, and market dynamics to provide actionable insightsCollaborate with marketing, category management, and finance teams to align strategies and goalsWork closely with IT teams to implement and improve systems supporting retail operationsAnalyze sales, loyalty data, and customer behavior to identify trends and opportunities for growthDevelop and implement data analyses, data collection systems, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and qualityConduct market analysis to understand competitors and industry trendsPrepare reports for senior management explaining trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant dataAssist in budgeting and forecasting, providing financial insights and risk assessmentEvaluate business procedures and recommend changes to improve operational efficiency and cost-effectivenessAnalyze store performance metrics and provide insights for improvementCollaborate with store operations to implement operational best practices

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field3+ years experience as a business analyst or data analystB2C experience and familiarity with retail operations and industry trends related to Customer Loyalty ProgramsTechnical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniquesExperience with reporting packages: Business Objects, etc.Experience with databases: SQL, etc.Experience with programming like XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworksProficiency in Excel, SPSS, or SASAdept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings
