Vice President of Finance - Gulf Winds Credit Union

Position SummaryGulf Winds Credit Union is in search of a Vice President of Finance/Controller to join their team. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, this role will oversee Accounting and Finance Departmental functions. This position will compile and analyze the credit union’s financial performance relative to budget and historical benchmarks, provide recommendation to management for achieving strategic objectives, and has investment authority. Other responsibilities include operation of the Financial Information System, including Core Accounting System, Financial Management System, and process automation workflows; developing reports proactively and presenting insights to executive management; planning, directing, and maintaining ALM reporting, liquidity programs, forecasting, budgeting, and organizational profitability. A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics with at least 5 year’s similar or related ALM experience is required, Master’s preferred. A minimum of 7 years of experience in financial institution accounting, forecasting, and financial analysis along with a working knowledge of GAAP and NCUA regulations and reporting is required.
