Worksite Location: Woodbury, New York (Long Island) - Hybrid 3 days per weekCompensation: $80,000-86,000
Must have the following for consideration: Minimum 4 years experience in the insurance industry - brokerage, consulting or retail insurance agency preferred.Valid Property and Casualty Insurance License - State of New York
What you will do as an Associate Account Executive - Commercial Lines:Maintain account folders in accordance with internal Quality Control guidelinesCheck policies and endorsements on all new business and renewals for accuracy and adequacy of coverageComplete specs, prepare proposals, policy summaries, and reviewsProcess endorsements, placement requests, and invoicing: Credit, Debit, Monthly reportsLiase with Accounting department on research and justification of premium charges as compared with endorsements and invoicesHandle or refer insured’s and underwriter’s questionsPerform other specific duties as directed by the Account ExecutivePursue a program of professional developmentBegin studies for appropriate licenses
What you will bring to the role as an Associate Account Executive - Commercial Lines:Bachelor’s degreeMinimum 4+ years of experience in brokerage, consulting, or retail insurance companyDetail-oriented with good mathematical and communication skillsAbility to understand, analyze, and research different lines of insuranceStrong computer skills, specifically in Excel & WordExcellent interpersonal skillsValid Property and Casualty Insurance License - State of New York
