Get more details below.Worksite Location: Fridley, MN (hybrid)Compensation: Competitive hourly rate ($30 - $38+ an hour)Contract to HireSenior Payroll Analyst Job DescriptionThis position will be responsible for overseeing and managing payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee pay, and maintaining compliance with relevant payroll laws and regulations. The Senior Payroll Analyst will be primarily focused on transitioning payroll functions from UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) to Dayforce/Ceridian. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in payroll administration, experience with transitioning between payroll systems, and a thorough understanding of payroll best practices.

What you’ll do as a Senior Payroll Specialist:Lead the migration of payroll processes from UKG to CeridianCollaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition, including data migration, system configuration, and testingCollaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition, including data migration, system configuration, and testingOversee end-to-end payroll processing activities, including data entry, calculations, deductions, and reconciliationsMaintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll regulations and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll lawsPrepare and submit payroll reports, tax filings, and other required documentationTest system functionality, troubleshoot issues, and provide support during implementationManage employee payroll data, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, and benefits deductionsEnsure data integrity, perform regular audits, and resolve discrepanciesIdentify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains in payroll operationsImplement best practices, streamline workflows, and recommend system enhancements or automation solutionsWhat you’ll bring to the Senior Payroll Specialist role:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)3-5+ years of experience in payroll administration, preferably in a senior or lead roleProficiency in using payroll software and HRIS systems (familiarity with Ceridian/Dayforce highly preferred)#AF.Indeed
