Full job descriptionProject Manager

The basic function of the Project Manager- Reconstruction of DAI, LLC is to sell, estimate, and manage reconstruction project (post DAI restoration/mitigation project) according to IICRC industry-leading standards, as well as being accountable for daily operations of multiple recon projects and management of all personnel and subcontractors on the job sites along with all paperwork that is issued to each specific project.

REQUIREMENTS

Education and Licenses

Required: High school or equivalent

Preferred: Management & Estimating skills & experience

OSHA 10-hour General Industry Safety and Health Certification preferred

IICRC Certification

Experience

Must have a minimum of five years of management experience in the RECONSTRUCTION and DISASTER restoration areas.

Skill, Knowledge and Abilities

Language ability includes reading, writing, spelling, mathematical and the ability to communicate clearly on technical and construction topics in English. Must be able to understand and interpret instructions from estimate / proposals and other written company / client instruction. Must have exceptional estimating skills and experience.

Have good work ethic and responsible behavior

• Be able to adapt to and work with changing job schedules (on-call, after hours and weekends as needed)
• Be able to work with varied personalities of crew and clients.
• Have a professional appearance and attitude.
• Have excessive experience with all phases of construction, general understanding of building codes and preferred experience with basic plumbing/electrical codes. Preferred experience or IICRC certification in Mold Remediation, Fire/Soot Mitigation and Water Mitigation.
• Preferred knowledge of Xactimate Estimating Software Program and be able to understand estimated scope of work, interrupt/ basic understanding of blueprints
• Current Driver’s License and Current Department of Transportation Card
• +4-5 Years in the Industry
• Must have excellent customer service

Physical

Body Positions: Standing, sitting, walking

Body Movements: Use of hands, arms, legs and lifting up to 75 pounds.

Ability to Lift up to 75 lbs.

Climb ladders and walk roofs

Work around heavy equipment

Use water mitigation equipment

Drive a car/van/truck

Stand for extended periods of time

Handle varying temperatures and weather conditions

Maintain a clean and professional appearance when on company business

Wear necessary PPE (personal protective equipment) while on a job site

Basic computer skills – ability to manage industry standard software, upload photosEfficient management of paperwork completion

Must be willing to travel and respond to 24/7 emergency demands

On call duty as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
